Project details:
The former precast concrete framed derelict Police Station was refurbished and with a steelwork structure extended to give a total of 83 no bedrooms plus ancillary spaces and car park.
Due to very poor aesthetics of the existing building the whole building was clad in a new rainscreen cladding system.
Reach Project Management were employed as Employers agent, Principal Designer and Cost consultant, the project was tendered by single stage tender, there was a significant problem in the building with Asbestos and Pigeons which had to be carefully managed.
